Bust A Cap Firearm Utility app for iPhone and iPad

Say hello to my little friend! BustACap is like a little black book you can use to keep track of your firearms and accessories.

-Have you ever wondered how many rounds youve shot through a particular firearm?
-Do you refer to online users manuals or demonstration videos when cleaning or performing maintenance? Do you search for this information before performing these tasks?
-Do you use a red dot, scope, or light on a firearm? If so, do you know the last time you changed the battery or when the battery needs to be changed?
-Have you encountered firearm malfunctions when using a particular magazine or ammunition type?

Over the years Ive tried to keep track of information like this in my head, in a notebook, and in a spreadsheet. But what I really wanted was an app on my smartphone or tablet that would keep track of this information for all my firearms and accessories. My goal was to make BustACap practical and easy to use. I ended up developing this app and use it regularly. I hope you find it useful too!

BustACap makes it easy to track the round count, cleaning, and maintenance history for all of your firearms. You can add notes, shooting, cleaning, and maintenance entries for your firearms. BustACap displays a summary page for each firearm that shows the total round count, malfunction count, last cleaning date, and last maintenance date. You can tap on "View History" to view the notes, shooting, cleaning, and maintenance entries for a firearm. Firearm entries with notes have a notes icon next to them so they can be quickly identified. You can put web URLs within a notes field. Doing so will create tappable links which can be used to conveniently access information for your firearm. Simply tap on a link in the notes field to look at a firearms online user manual or watch a cleaning or maintenance demonstration video! Firearm history entries with tappable links have a link icon next to them so they can be found quickly.

BustACap displays a list of all your firearms. It can automatically sort your firearms based on their Rounds Fired, Last Fired Date, Last Cleaned Date, or Last Maintenance Date. If enabled, BustACap will remind you with an alert each day at 8:01 AM when a firearm needs to be cleaned.

BustACap also keeps track of battery changes for your firearm accessories such as red dots, scopes, lights, and lasers. If enabled, BustACap will remind you with an alert each day at 8:00 AM when a battery needs to be changed for an accessory.

BustACap has an email backup feature that makes it easy to create backups of application data, restore data, or transfer data to a different device.

BustACap has an App Feedback menu for users to provide feedback and suggestions on app improvements.
